Beats and Bytes: Turning Pain into Music with AI (Claude and Suno)
Have you ever felt so sad that you wanted to make something beautiful? That’s what happened to me this. My relationship ended, and I was really upset. I couldn’t stop thinking about my ex.
One night, I had an idea. What if I could turn my sadness into a song? I love music but never made any before. So, I decided to try using AI to help me.
I found two AI tools for this project: Claude AI, a language model that can write and analyze text, and Suno, a music generation tool that can create original songs based on prompts.
First, I wrote down how I felt: “How can I look at you with nothing but love, while you look at me with nothing but hate?” I gave this to an AI called Claude and asked it to write a poem. The poem it made was really good!
Then, I asked Claude to turn the poem into song lyrics. When I saw the lyrics, I got excited. They really showed how I felt.
But a song needs music too. So, I used another AI called Suno. Claude helped me tell Suno what kind of music to make. After trying a few times, Suno made a beautiful song.
When I first listened to ‘You and Me’, I was amazed. The song managed to represent my emotions in a way I didn’t expect.
Making this song didn’t fix my broken heart right away. But it helped me see things differently. It showed me that even when we’re sad, we can make something special.
I’m sharing my story and song with you now. It shows how we can use new technology to express our feelings and maybe feel better. Who knows? Maybe you’ll want to try making music with AI too!

Remember, when something ends, something new can begin. And sometimes, that new thing might be a beautiful song you make yourself!
UPDATE
Guess what? I got inspired to take this AI music thing even further!
After making the first version with Suno, I thought,
“Hey, why not try adding my own touch?”
So, I grabbed my phone and opened up GarageBand. I came up with a simple chord progression: C — Am — F — G. Nothing fancy, but it felt right.
Then, I had an idea. What if I used this as a base and asked Suno to work its magic again? This time, I told it:
“Make an acoustic emotional pop ballad withd soft backing vocals in the chorus and intro.”
And wow! The new version sounds way better than before. It’s like the AI really understood what I was going for this time.

This whole process showed me how cool it can be when humans and AI work together on creative stuff. It also reminded me that sometimes, we need to try a few times to get things just right — in music and in life!
What do you think? Pretty neat, huh?
DISCLAIMER:
Hey everyone! Just want to make something clear: This whole AI music-making adventure was purely for fun and a bit of personal research. I’m not a professional musician or AI expert — just a curious person exploring what’s possible with today’s technology.
Remember, this was all done in the spirit of creativity and learning. The tools I used are available to anyone, and I encourage you to try them out if you’re interested. But always respect copyright laws and use AI responsibly.
So, take this story as it is — a fun experiment and a personal journey. Who knows? Maybe it’ll inspire you to try something new too!
Stay curious and keep creating!
Thank you~
