The change in mindset from fixed mindsets to growth mindsets is very important in my life. The three mindsets that are so attached to me are the fear of taking risks, the lack of confidence, and the difficulty in public communication. I’m going to explain the reasons and what strategies I have to implement in order to be a person who has growth mindsets.

1. The fear of taking risks: Right now, I’m too scared to start something, I have a bad habit of being too perfectionist, so when I want to do something, it has to be perfect. If not, then I will confine myself, hate myself and be deeply disappointed. That’s why I didn’t want to take any chances, because I was afraid that a failure would happen to me. To make matters worse, I’m too comfortable in the current zone, that’s what scares me to take risks even for a better change.

The strategy and challenge that I have to take to be brave toward a better transformation is to cultivate confidence and prepare everything thoroughly to start anew so that I can know where I’m going to limit myself to something. I’m going to start with a little thing like creating educational content on social media, not forgetting to ask friends for feedback so that I can grow.

2. The lack of confidence: Disbelief with self — ability over time grows bigger because of the bad experiences that occurred in the past. I often felt inferior and felt that others deserved it more. I feel I’m no better than them, my abilities are way below average. After that I regretted not trying and just kept quiet. I’m just not confident and afraid to do it.

So, to have a growth mindset, I’m going to start believing in my abilities and not be afraid to do anything anymore. Surely in order to cultivate that confidence, I have to learn first, make sure that I have enough knowledge and don’t depend on others anymore.

3. The difficulty in public communication: I’m afraid to speak in public. There are so many bad experiences related to public speaking that are always on my mind. The most painful thing is when people don’t listen while I’m talking. Therefore, I was very scared and trembling when I was required to speak to many people.

The strategy and challenge that I’m going to do to get out of fear is that I have to be brave and believe that what I say will be heard, and I will learn and practice to speak well.
